About AGC Construction in Billings, MT

Licensed General Contractor and Concrete Specialist Serving Montana

AGC Construction is a licensed and insured general contracting company serving Billings, Park City, Kalispell, Bozeman, Great Falls, Glendive, Missoula, Havre, Butte, Miles City, Whitefish, and communities throughout Montana. Founded in July 2025, AGC Construction specializes in full residential builds and concrete work—services owner Cody learned working summers and adult years with family businesses operating in Montana for three decades.

Cody comes from a contracting family. His uncle owned a contracting business, and Cody poured foundational concrete as a teenager during summer work. Throughout his adult years, he continued working for his aunt and uncle's concrete business—a company that operated for 30 years—while maintaining full-time employment with BNSF as a track maintenance supervisor. He still helps on larger concrete projects annually, bringing that hands-on experience to every job AGC Construction takes on.

What sets AGC Construction apart is a simple commitment: leave every job done right and built to last. Cody pulls permits in-house for both county and municipal jurisdictions across Montana, managing the project coordination and compliance work that keeps builds on schedule. You'll notice the difference when the crew arrives—no raggedy equipment, no shortcuts, just professional execution from start to finish.

AGC Construction is currently building a new residential home in Park City, with groundbreak scheduled for spring 2026 once the septic permit clears. That same attention to sequencing and planning applies to client projects: concrete pours happen before snow flies, and spring projects are scheduled when the ground is workable. Montana weather dictates the calendar, and AGC Construction plans around it.

Veteran-Owned Business Building for the Long Term

AGC Construction is a veteran-owned business. Cody served nine years in the Army National Guard and exited with a disability rating. That military background shapes how the business operates: reliable communication, clear expectations, and follow-through on every commitment. Almost all subcontractors AGC Construction works with are veterans or still active-duty—crews who share the same values of integrity and accountability.

Montana's climate and geography require specific planning for construction projects. Concrete work must be completed before freezing temperatures arrive, and foundation projects resume when spring thaw makes the ground workable. AGC Construction schedules projects around these seasonal windows, coordinating permits, material delivery, and crew availability to keep builds moving efficiently.

Cody is currently employed full-time by BNSF and transitioning to full-time construction by spring 2026. His long-term vision for AGC Construction includes residential full-builds and concrete specialty work now, expanding into new subdivisions within the next few years, and eventually taking on commercial projects over a five to ten year timeline. That phased approach ensures every project gets the attention and oversight it deserves—no overextension, no rushing jobs to chase volume.

AGC Construction offers discounts for veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers. Contact us to learn what's available for your project. Cody is comfortable traveling statewide for the right-sized jobs—recent estimates have taken him to Kalispell, and he's willing to work in Missoula, Bozeman, or anywhere in Montana when project scope and timeline align.
